Observing Holy Week
Here is a wonderful way to transform your experience of Easter: join us for worship on Maundy Thursday Evening, and on Good Friday at noon, for two of the most special liturgies in the church year. We walk with Jesus through the events of Holy Week, and we prepare ourselves for a glorious Fifty Days of Easter.
Single Service - at 10am
This coming Sunday, we will celebrate Easter Sunday. On Sundays, April 9 16, we will have a single service at 10am. This will enable us to worship together as a congregation on this major Sunday in the Church's calendar.
Holy Week is here. Perhaps it has not been part of your religious practice to attend services during Holy Week. This year, we invite you to make a special intention to be present for worship on Maundy Thursday evening (at 6pm), and on Good Friday (at 12pm). Maundy Thursday commemorates Jesus' last supper with his disciples, and his institution of the remembrance of that meal in what would become the Eucharist. On Good Friday, we remember his death on the cross and the saving gift of his Grace. You will experience an Easter with deeper meaning and joy when you have observed Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. We look forward to welcoming you to these two special services.
