Welcome to the Grace Church Preschool, Celebrating our 57th Year
The Grace Church Preschool was founded in 1950 and continues today as the oldest preschool in
Grand Rapids. The preschool is licensed by the State of Michigan and operates as a non-profit,
non-sectarian ministry of Grace Episcopal Church, serving the parish and the community. Operating
in a large cheerful area in the church's lower level, the Grace Church Preschool is ready to serve
you and your preschooler.
The Grace Church Preschool Philosophy
We believe that each child is a unique individual. We know that the early years in a young child's life are the most important years for learning, loving and gaining trust. We provide a warm, welcoming and caring Christian atmosphere, a devoted staff and a positive learning environment that encourages the intellectual, social, emotional, physical and creative development of each child. Through a variety of learning experiences, activities and multicultural materials children will build understanding, empathy, self-identity and a positive self-image.
